A sequel to the movie Avatar is set to start filming in New Zealand starring again the lovely movie actress Zoe Saldana.
The 2009 film Avatar, which starred Zoe Saldana along with Sam Worthington, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver, was about a local tribe called the Na’vi people, a species that lived in Pandora, a land where humans were mindset on mining for a precious material called unobtanium.
The military operative Jake Sully played by actor Sam Worthington was sent in to learn the Na’vi way when ended up falling in love with Na’vi princess Neytiri played by actress Zoe Saldana.
The movie reportedly became the first film to gross over $2 billion dollars at the box office.
Now not only Avatar 2, but sequels 2, 3 and 4 are set to be produced by the original producer James Cameron in New Zealand with the first sequel set for release December 2016.
