Nashville rapper Young Buck “David Darnell Brown,” 25, was arrested on Friday afternoon for failure to be booked on a 2006 citation for driving on a suspended license. A warrant had been issued for Young Buck’s arrest due to him not appearing in court in 2006 for the incident.

Young Buck was stopped by a police officer after he saw a black Cadillac Escalade driving erratically near intersection 11th Avenue North and Charlotte Avenue in downtown Nashville, TN. Even though the rapper currently has a valid driver license, the computer system verfied a misdemeanor citation that occurred in July 2006 resulting in an outstanding warrant.

The rap artist was taken into custody by police officers and his bond was set at $1,000. The rapper is expected back in court on February 27th.
