According to sources, Memphis native, music producer and star David Gest has landed his own TV show “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!” The series is stated to follow him in his day-to-day living. Viewers will get a chance to see what goes on in the world of this music producer whose known as close friends of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and the ex-husband of famed singer and actress Liza Minnelli (daughter of Judy Garland “Wizard of Oz”).

David Gest first appeared in “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!” on ITV in the UK and was 4th place on the 2006 series where he was later evicted from the show on December 2006.

The upcoming series is stated to be screened later this year.

Layla Smith, ITV1’s controller of alternative programmes, stated that Gest was a star of the show and an absolute revelation and completely captivating.
