New Artist From The East…With A Memphis Sound

Project_P writes There is a new artist coming out of the east coast that has shocking people all over the nation. He goes by the name “Project” and has been blowing up the streets with his unique sound for five years now. “I grew up listening to southern rap… Three 6 Mafia, UGK, Eightball and MJG, they are all influences on me.” When asked about the comments that his style is straight Memphis, he replied with, “I’m not surprised at all, it’s what I love.” Project is currently in the studio working on his solo album “Revelation” featuring such southern artists as Mr. Sche, DJ Cree, and Pimpminista.

“Mr. Sche has been a big help to me, giving me direction and helping me with anything I needed, props for that.” Production on his cd also includes DJ Cree and Mr. Sche amongst others. Look for the release late summer 2004.
