“404 Music has been receiving non-stop inquiries from various retailers and members of the music industry about MJG’s new album… we have been telling them that the album [This Might Be The Day] will be available on July 1st,” stated Easton.
Album “This Might Be the Day” features MJG’s hit single “Shades” among twelve expected tracks on the album.
In related news, there was also talk that MJG’s album “Pimp Tight,” an independent mixtape release which dropped in April, may have evidently brought negative attention to the label due to controversy and confusion regarding the mixtape. According to Easton, MJG’s “Pimp Tight” has no affiliation with the label 404 Music.
“I want to stress that 404 Music has absolutely no affiliation with the mixtape, ‘Pimp Tight,'” Easton stated. “Anyone who knows me also knows of the values and the causes that I have promoted and supported through the years. Releasing questionable product is not one of them.”
