MemphisRap.com Upgrades Server

MemphisRap.com, as of this week, has upgraded it’s site’s backbone aimed at providing a better experience and site that supports it’s now over 6 million hits and 600,000 unique visitors a month. The upgrade includes a faster and more powerful server device, which can support millions of more users and activity a month. Previously, the server could support only a maximum of 5 million, which was the reason for errors and failed user connections. Plus, now the site will have a noticeably faster load time with a processor up to 3x faster than before.

“The challenge was great, but this is actually only the beginning”, says Hosea Mays Jr (M Town Luv), Director for MemphisRap.com. “We still have a lot of work to do now that the upgrades and fixes are complete. But I’m just glad that fans and users, as well as myself, can now enjoy the site without the obstacles that were created by the server breaking down all the time.” M Town says.

Further enhancements to the site will include stronger local marketing functions, including local independent artist pages, and local business spotlights. MemphisRap.com will also unveil The MemphisRap.com Official Music Club, Online Music Store, Online Music Stations, and more soon so stay tuned!
