Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Others All Top the MTV’s Hottest MC’s of All Time

MTV is back yet again with another list of its “Hottest MC’s of All Time” spotlighting Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Young Jeezy and others.

MTV is back yet again with another list compiled of its “Hottest MC’s of All Time” with this time Kanye West making the top spot for his album “Graduation” and “Grow In The Dark” tour beating out Jay-Z who topped this year’s list as number 2 and Lil Wayne who came in at number 3 on this year’s list and was number 1 on MTV’s last year’s “Hottest MC’s of All Time”.

In previous years MTV has brought their picks which were based on what was only going on in hip-hop, but recently opted to make a few changes to how the list is complied and making it based upon what has been going on for the past year making it even more current.

The rankings aren’t just based on who can just rap and got dope beats, but is stated to be based upon lyrics, flow, impact on the game, success and swagger.
