Dubstep meets Memphis Rap as Three 6 Mafia’s DJ Paul gets ‘Cocky’ on one of his new hip hop songs off his upcoming EP “A Person of Interest.”
“I told these haters/they don’t flatter me/I’m off in this Charger/like a battery,” the rapper spits on the track Cocky.
The music video and song “Cocky” follows behind DJ Paul’s new hip hop song and music video “Skull” which is also on “A Person of Interest.”
According to DJ Paul, before his new EP “A Person of Interest” drops, he will be releasing a new mixtape titled “For I Have Sinned” with DJ Scream in April.
In addition to the news of the new mixtape, DJ Paul released a special .zip of another single “Smokin N F*ckin” from off the EP which includes three versions of the track “Smokin N F*ckin, Puffin N F*ckin, and Smokin’ N Touchin.’ The music video for the song “Smokin N F*ckin” was dropped on last month.
In between time, while the rapper has been dropping singles from off his upcoming EP “Person of Interest,” DJ Paul has also been staying busy with business venues which include his new DJ Paul BBQ Rub, Dangerus Skandulus Store, amongst other ventures.
The album “A Person of Interest” produced by J-Green and DJ Paul is scheduled to drop June 19th, 2012.
