R&B singer Ginuwine, is headed to a New York court regarding what is being called a ‘bogus’ recording contract presumably owned by Memphian Michael Bourne.
Ginuwine’s attorney, Corey Boddie of Boddie & Associates in Atlanta, GA, insist that his client be let out of King Music Group’s contract on the grounds of misrepresentation by the company, breach of contract, and blatant fraud. To date Ginuwine has not received any monies in accordance with the contract.
In an earlier report, Boddie says that he has been unable to locate or contact Bourne, as his personal number and office number are not listed.
Boddie would not respond to phone calls today regarding the case, but records show that Ginuwine and his legal team are suing Bourne for nearly $4 million in damages including legal fees and potential loss of the artist’s future income.
