Don’t worry, you don’t have to smoke the illegal drug according to the researchers. Experts say the drug would not even be used in the making of such a ‘miracle cannabis cream’ that could possibly cure skin problems including even skin cancer, yet instead they could and would possibly look into reproducing/synthesizing the elements of marijuana to recreate the good effects of the chemical found in the cannabis that is good for skin.

There is no confirmed reports however yet that smoking marijuana or rubbing the leaf-like cannabis on your skin would create the effects of skin care that the chemical in it would, so don’t start ‘rolling joints’ yet or ‘taking a cannabis bath’ with medically prescribed marijuana without first consulting with a licensed doctor.

Other myths of cannabis include that it’s a good diet drug for those seeking to gain weight, it’s good for hair loss, and the sex drive but none of these are proven facts. Medical cannabis, however, in many cases is prescribed as a physician-recommended herbal therapy for the prevention of migraines and in rare cases has been used in the treatment of alcoholism and addiction to other drugs such as heroin.
