Honestly, I think hip hop falsely advertises women but so does TV, magazines, etc.. they advertise them as sex objects but they are actually mothers, daughters, sisters and wives.. and not in that order.. now don’t get me wrong, “sex sells” but that’s another topic :)

On the other hand, hip hop and women are ‘divided’ because women (and men) should form hip hop instead it seems today like hip-hop is forming or better yet ‘reforming’ women (and men).

@taylormane Good post.. I’ve actually heard Da Hater, an honorable mention… I haven’t heard of Fathom 9 or Fridae Blaque until now but that’s one of the reasons behind this thread, to learn of old, new and current artists, thanks for weighing in.. by the way I listened to Fridae Blaque’s recent mixtape, good stuff

@catfish-lanny thanks for weighing in also.. good mentions.. I actually hadn’t heard of Ethelwulf but after a quick search I see he’s been around since ’92 I guess and goes by X. Wulf now.. I took a listen to some of his new stuff, dope.. good post!

Rest in peace to The Scarecrow! One of the founding members.. we might not have even had Triple 6 without him! #legend

Got a few favorites but I’d say Three 6 Mafia album Mystic Stylez and The End for songs like Break Da Law, Where’s The Bud, Da Summa, Tear Da Club Up, classics!
