13-Yr-Old Boy Charged With Murder For Shooting His 10-Yr-old Sister After She Dared Him

A 13 year-old Memphis boy was charged with murder after shooting his pre-teen sister in the head over an alleged dare.

Police say the 10 year-old sister, Denii Compton, allegedly dared her 13 year-old brother to fire a gun which he reportedly did after her alleged dare.

Now the 13 year-old is facing murder for fatally shooting his sister in the head at their Memphis home.

The 10 year-old did not actually die immediately upon being shot, she died from her gun wound 3 days later in the hospital.

The 13 year-old boy’s charges were initially felony reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence, but were later upgraded to second-degree murder.
