You Are The One: Exclusive Interview with Rapper, SODMG affiliate Teflon Don

In a recent interview with Deanna Jo of MemphisRap.com, rapper and SODMG affiliate Teflon Don (@teflondon) reveals that he’s working on a new follow-up album to his debut God, The Goverment, The Game album. The rapper, who works closely with manager Miami Mike, manager of superstar rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em, talks about his new single “You Are The One” which features new R&B artist J. Harris, his new tour line-up and more.

The interview was held at Memphis based distribution company Select-O-Hits, where DeAnna also recently interviewed Wyte Music recording artist Shamrock, winner from VH1’s ‘Ego Trip’s White Rapper Show.’

Teflon Don reveals how since winning the MemphisRap.com Music Showcase back in 2008, things have lined up and how he has invested more time into networking such as at Industry events and this has shown success in his now rising music career.

Teflon Don’s new single “You Are The One” featuring J. Harris is currently airing on radio and building a buzz in other markets.

“Right now people know who I am.. I think it was just about the right time and right song,” Teflon Don explained about gaining radio airplay on HOT 107.1 KXHT, when asked about it by DeAnna Jo in his video interview.

Along with revealing upcoming work with K97’s Next Big Thing producer JP On Tha Track, the rapper also revealed a new deal with a new video game affiliate of MTV Games, a new movie “situation,” upcoming tours from Tennessee to Alabama and more.
