Facing elimination, Memphis Grizzlies were able to beat out the Los Angeles Clippers to win 90-88 in NBA Playoffs series Game 6, forcing now a deciding Game 7 match-up.
This win was the first time Grizzlies won an elimination game on the road in franchise history.
Big scorers in Game 6 were Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol, who finished with 23 points and 9 rebounds, and Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
Randolph also scored big when he tipped in a missed layup by Tony Allen, which gave the Grizz an 85-80 lead with 3:24 remaining.
The deciding game 7 will be Sunday May 13th in Memphis’ FedExForum at 12:00 PM (Noon). The Game 7 single game tickets, which went on sale today (Saturday) at 10AM CST, were sold out in less than five minutes beating out last season’s franchise record.
