Washington Redskins nab Donovan McNabb from Eagles in NFL Trade!

Well the most anticipated trade has become a done deal. Donovan McNabb was traded to the Washington Redskins today. The Eagles in return will receive the 2nd round draft pick (37th overall) and either a 3rd or 4th round pick.

It’s kind of hard to believe that the franchise player for so long has a new zip code now, but this is a business.

“Donovan McNabb was more than a franchise quarterback for this team,” Eagles chairman Jeffrey Lurie said. “I look forward to honoring him as one of the greatest Eagles of all time and hopefully see him enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton one day.”

Those fans that were booing McNabb on draft day finally get what they wanted….a decade later.
