Florida Gators football coach Urban Meyer lashed out. Going off on the Orlando Sentinel’s reporter Jeremy Fowler was said to be defending one of his players. Fowler seemed to print improper words about Florida’s wide receiver Deonte Thompson. It seems that Fowler made the accusations that Thompson may be happier playing with Florida’s new quarterback John Brantley than Tim Tebow.
Of course this was not true, but it was just an opinion of Fowler’s. Fowler showed up at one of the practices also and was quickly and repeatedly yelled at by Meyer. Meyer informed the reporter that if he does not stop writing false things he will no longer be allowed around the team. This may have come because of how much Tebow is in the news these days and the effect he had on Florida. There was said to be a rule list made up by Meyer. When the list is available, I will get that to you as soon as possible.
