Sugar Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather Fight: Predictions?!

The ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley vs Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather fight is set to happen this Saturday May 1st. These two veterans have been circling each other for years and now it all goes down this weekend.

The match-up arose from a earlier fight in the year when Mosley entered the ring after Mayweather defeated boxer Juan Manuel Marquez. Shane rudely interrupted Mayweather as he was being interviewed and challenged him to a fight.

Mayweather, who is 40-0, felt disrespected by Mosley’s actions to jump in the ring and agreed to the fight. Mayweather is ready although Sugar Shane was NOT his first option to fight. Floyd wanted to fight Manny Pacquiao, but Manny refused to take drug tests before the fight after being accused by Mayweather for enhancement drugs.

Mosley says that he is ready to take Mayweather down. To be the best, you have to take down the best.

“This one is definitely for the fans, as I wasn’t going to waste anyone’s time with a meaningless tuneup bout and asked to fight Shane immediately,” Floyd said. “I have said ever since I came back to the sport that I only wanted to fight the best. I think Shane is one of the best, but come May 1, he still won’t be great enough to beat me.”
