Philadelphia 76ers Head Coach Fired; Bobcats Larry Brown Replacing Him?

The Philadelphia 76ers head coach Eddie Jordan was relieved of his coaching duties. Signing a 4yr contract back on June 1st, 2009, Jordan thought that he would at least stay more than one season.

These actions stemmed from a horrible 27-55 season which was the worst for Jordan.

Eddie was not made available for comments on these actions, but we all hope that Jordan finds a home because he is a great coach, just not for that team.

Sixers president and General Manager Ed Stefanski stated “Obviously, what I thought would happen did not occur and the decision was not a right one,” “And that’s why I made the choice to go now in a different direction to get someone here to get us on that right path.”

Sixers front office is currently courting coaches to fill this position. Some say that the franchise should steer backwards to their former coach Larry Brown. Brown, who is now the head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats, will have a decision to make. Philadelphia is his home but, does he want to come back to the one’s that let him go?
