Notre Dame recruit Matt James, 17, Dies In ‘Drunk’ Spring Break Balcony Fall

Notre Dame Football recruit Matt James is reported to have died a tragic death. While on a spring vacation with about 20 friends and a half a dozen parents, James just wanted to have some fun but that wasn’t the outcome. It seemed that the star offensive tackle was “drunk and belligerent” when he fell over a reported 3-story balcony to his death.

Matt allegedly leaned over the balcony of a hotel room and was reportedly shaking his finger at the people in the next room when he fell to his death.

The railing was said to have the proper standards. Police in Panama City, Fla will press charges when they find out who provided the alcohol as James was underage.

James, 17, was one week shy of his 18th birthday, just a baby.

The autopsy will be done later.
