Memphis native Willie Gregory was elected to be the 2010 president of the Autozone Festival Association. Gregory, who is also a popular executive for the Memphis Nike company has been on the Autozone board since 1998.
The city of Memphis needs places where the children can go that are safe as well as learn a sport to stay out of trouble.
By Gregory working at a high level for Nike, you have to stop and wonder how much the factory has helped the city such as jobs, clothing and the workers to feed their families.
“The AutoZone Liberty Bowl is one of the great annual events that makes Memphis unique and exemplifies Nike’s “Just Do It” philosophy,” said Gregory. “I’m proud to serve as President this year, as we continue to showcase the Bowl’s rich history, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the entire Memphis community throughout the year.
