Memphis Grizzlies vs. Philadelphia 76ers: The Last Home Game of the Season

The Memphis Grizzlies fell 120-101 to the Philadelphia 76ers. For their last game, Grizzlies played their hardest and their best game but the 76ers had other plans for Grizzlies.

Philadelphia clearly was lighting it up from beyond the arc all night long setting a franchise record. Memphis held them off for 3 quarters, but that 4th quarter was the killer for the Grizzlies.

With no O.J. Mayo, because he left the game with a mild left ankle sprain, Grizzlies did not have much help behind the 3-pt line.

“They couldn’t miss and defensively, we couldn’t force them into playing our game,” Rudy Gay said. “They got what they wanted tonight.”

Yes Rudy, it was a great game, but it was not Memphis’ game. The Grizzlies fall to a record of 40-40 with 2 games left in the season.

Next, Memphis Grizzlies will be taking on the Denver Nuggets. Let’s all watch and support our future next year’s playoff team.
