Memphis Grizzlies, who are setting new franchise standards, defeated the Orlando Magic, 88-76 and will now open the NBA playoffs at home, a franchise first.
With the win over Magic, Grizzlies claimed the No. 4 seeding in the Western Conference playoffs.
Big scorers in the game against Magic were Marc Gasol with 22 points, Rudy Gay with 20 points, O.J. Mayo with 15 points and Zach Randolph, who’s returned to the starting lineup, with 13 points and also an impressive 12 rebounds for Memphis.
With the win, the Grizzlies also set a franchise-best record with 11 straight home games going into Sunday’s game.
Memphis Grizzlies will open the playoffs at home against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday at the FedEx Forum.
