Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy was arrested and booked on Tuesday for obstruction. Not less than a month ago, rapper Young Jeezy was arrested for an unrelated incident stemming from an alleged argument with his son, as reported on MemhpisRap.com.
According to reports, Young Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, was arrested by Alpharetta, Georgia police for cursing out officers and failing to adhere to the requests that officers asked of him such as showing his ID and/or providing his name.
Reportedly, a security alarm went off at a townhouse and police responded to the alert. The officers knocked on the door of the townhouse and received no answers and went around the back to check the premises. When the officers went to check out the back of the home, Young Jeezy was seen walking from the back of the building and allegedly told police the home was his girlfriend’s.
Reportedly, Young Jeezy, 36, didn’t need to show ID because according to Jezzy, the officers recognized him instantly and began treating him like a criminal as soon as they realized he was Jeezy the rapper.
Police claim Young Jeezy struggled with them and was uncooperative and cursed the officers out when they asked for ID.
Booked on obstructing police, Jeezy claims the police were simply looking for a reason to bust him after realizing who he was.
