Yo Gotti In Memphis, Turns Himself In On Warrant Issued In Nightclub Shooting

Yo Gotti has arrived back to Memphis, Tennessee and the rapper is making no haste in clearing his name, as he promised, by turning himself in to Memphis authorities.

As soon as news broke that Yo Gotti, as well as Memphis rapper O.G. Boo Dirty, had warrants issued by police for questioning about the multiple shooting at Level II Nightclub in Memphis, Gotti immediately released a statement saying he would clear his name as soon as he returned back into town, as reported on MemphisRap.com.

At least six people where shot, including rapper OG Boo Dirty, in the parking lot of Level II Nightclub in East Memphis, following what authorities speculate from sources as a verbal altercation between Yo Gotti, born Mario Mims, and OG Boo Dirty, born Lance Taylor.

Apparently a third unidentified man instigated the altercation, OG Boo Dirty struck him, and this lead to gun shots leaving 6 people shot and wounded.

Police investigated the crime, which lead to arrest warrants being issued later for both Yo Gotti and Boo Dirty, who was recently released from jail prior to the incident.

Gotti’s attorney, Art Horne, released a statement from Yo Gotti, who was out-of-town at the time that the warrants were issued, and Gotti said he does not condone violence, would address the charges on his return to Memphis, and would clear his name.

Today, this evening (Dec 13), rapper Yo Gotti arrived in Memphis and is currently turning himself in to authorities.
