‘X Factor’ Finalist Simone Battle, of G.R.L., Found Dead at 25 of Suicide By Hanging

X Factor star Simone Battle of the female singing group G.R.L. was found dead in her bedroom of her Los Angeles home of suicide.

Singer Simon Battle, known for her rise to fame on the reality TV competition show X Factor, was found hanging from a rod in the closet in her bedroom on Friday.

The 25 year-old singer of the girl group G.R.L. is known for making to the top 20 of the” X Factor.”

Battle was found in her apartment in West Hollywood California, according to her father.

At first, details of her death speculated an apparent suicide but was sketchy. It has since been officially ruled as suicide by hanging.

Since news of her death, other G.R.L. members including Paula Van Oppen, Lauren Bennett, Emmalyn Estrada and Natasha Slayton have expressed their remorse as well as other celebrities such as rapper Pitbull and television producer Simon Cowell.
