Rapper Drake performed as a musical guest this past weekend on Saturday Night Live and also ‘killed it’ at hosting the SNL show.
Drake has received multiple positive reviews from pleasantly surprised critics with one of the best possibly coming from CNN.
“It took Drake only one try to become one of Saturday Night Live’s best hosts,” quotes CNN in regards to Drake hosting on SNL this past January 18th.
Among his hosting highlights were his impersonations of several musical stars including hip-hop music mogul Jay-Z and his mentor and Young Money labelmate Lil Wayne, as Steve Urkel of family television show Family Matters.
Drake also impersonated the likes of Alex Rodriguez and comedian Kat Williams.
Amongst the musical performances by Drake, were Started From The Bottom from his chart topping album Nothing Was The Same along with a piano ballad version of Hold On We’re Going Home.
