VIP After-Party With 8Ball and MJG Turns Violent, ‘Goons’ Beat Down’ Man, Arrests Made

It seems that a 24th floor hotel room VIP after-party on early Saturday morning for Memphis rappers 8Ball & MJG in Milwaukee, WI, may have gone terribly wrong as one man was allegedly ‘beaten’ at the party while another was arrested during the party described by local media as “out of control.”

According to local news site Today’s TMJ4 Milwaukee, around 2:30 am in the morning, Milwaukee police received a call from hotel security at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center claiming that 30-40 people were becoming ‘dangerously unruly’ and were refusing to leave.

The party was attended by Memphis rap duo ‘8 Ball and MJG’ who appeared earlier at a club called 618 Live late Friday, where there were no incidents or relationships to the fracas reported later at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center hotel.

“Everybody had a great time,” stated Nick Murado, club 618 Live’s operations manager. “We closed about 1:30. Everybody left uneventfully.”

Unfortunately, according to the report, the VIP party was not so lucky. A supervisor for Hilton Milwaukee City Center hotel claimed that he witnessed one man being ‘beat down’ at the party on a hotel security camera.

The victim, 35, later went to the hospital revealing to investigators that he paid $25 for a VIP pass to the party but was later “struck in the head intervening in a fight,” according to the report.

According to arrest documents, police arrested rapper/performer ‘Little Tweezy,’ who booked the hotel room party which ended in “a lot of alcohol, loud music and a rowdy crowd,” for giving them false and incomplete information.

Arrested with $2,449 in cash in his pockets, Tweezy, who told police he performed one song on stage with 8Ball & MJG, revealed to investigators that he had the money because he was “an entertainer.”

Later released without charges, police are now seeking the multiple suspects responsible for the beaten of the victim who attended the VIP party thrown for 8Ball & MJG.

The Memphis rap group 8Ball and MJG are currently out on promotional dates pushing a new album project being released on 8Ball’s independent label 8 Ways Entertainment entitled “Memphis All-Stars” compilation album presented by 8Ball aka the Fat Mack featuring MJG, Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia, Yo Gotti who’s featured on promotional single ‘Gettin It In,’ Al Kapone, Project Pat, Gangsta Blac, Kinfolk Thugs, La Chat, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Da Volunteers, 8 Ways new artist Devius and others. Memphis All Stars is currently in stores now and features 8Ball single This Ain’t featuring MJG, Project Pat, Juicy J, Devius, and new Hypnotize Minds artist Yung D and the single Gangsta Luv featuring MJG and Memphis rapper Tela.
