Update: Soulja Boy’s Camp Denies Alabama No-Show; Says Show Was ‘Bogus’

Representatives for Soulja Boy have shot down the reports that the ‘Crank Dat’ rapper was even booked at the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama.

As recently reported, Soulja Boy was, reportedly, expected to perform at the Dothan Civic Center on Saturday at 7PM in Alabama, according to reports by the Dothan Eagle.

First reported, the rapper Soulja Boy failed to appear at his concert where fans waited literally hours to see the young rap star, now, according to reports on SixShot and the Dothan Eagle, representatives for Soulja Boy have shot down the reports that the ‘Crank Dat’ rapper was even booked at the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama.

“We did not have a contract to do a show in Dothan, AL.,” the rep for Soulja Boy stated, according to SixShot. “I have never seen a contract for this show. All of our shows are booked through William Morris Talent Agency!”

The rep went on to state that the rapper, Soulja Boy Tellem, is currently in Paris, France finishing up a 2 1/2 week Europe promotional run.

It now seems that the show may have been ‘foul’ and/or local promoters in Alabama may have been misled. According to the Dothan Eagle, the so-called show was canceled about three hours after Soulja Boy had not shown up and, since Monday, refunds have been issued to about 1,000 fans who showed up expecting to see the rap artist at a concert on Saturday. Reps for Soulja Boy issued a statement to the fans of the young rapper.

“Basically that was a bogus show.
