Two Memphis Congregations Pray Together For Better Race Relations

Every Tuesday morning two congregations,the Love of Christ Church and The Journey Christian Church, come together for prayer on the hopes of eliminating racism and developing the ability of coexistence.

The two congregations also do more than have prayer every Tuesday morning, or worship service every Sunday. They also do family oriented activities together.

The Love Christ Church Pastor Dana Key and The Christian Journey Christian Church Pastor Dan Henley first came together through their personal friend, Fred Bennett, who is the Pastor of Christ the Rock Church.

Both Pastors Key and Henley give credit to Pastor Bennett for the idea of the union. They plan to take Memphis to higher levels.
