Maimi’s own Trina, her Diamond Dolls Foundation and Checkers fast food restaurants, will be offering local youth the opportunity to win a shopping spree.

On October 6, the Slip-N-Slide Records artist will appear at the Checkers location at 8000 N.W. 7th Ave in Liberty City Florida from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m for the chain’s guest appreciation week. During her visit, Trina will sign autographs and conduct a drawing to award two children an on the spot shopping spree with the rapper. Throughout the day there will also be face painting,live music, a burger eating contest with a $250 grand prize, ticket giveaways to the Homestead Motor Speedway and a Miami Heat 6 game pack giveaway.

Trina launched the Diamond Doll Foundation in 2006 in an effort to help and inspire young girls from the inner city.

Trina also preparing for the launch of her lines of designer jeans and fragrance in 2008.
