Rapper T.I. has signed a three movie deal with the film company Screen Gems, a subsidiary company of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group.
The rapper told MTV at the MTV Movie Awards, “I have a few films that I am in the process of working on, as a producer as well as an actor. Some with Screen Gems, some with New Line, as well as a documentary in the form of a television series with MTV.”
According to VH1, his contract will begin with the movie “Bone Deep” which co-stars Atlanta rapper Matt Dillion and Idris Elba. The rapper is also stated to be in talks with Chris Brown to join as a young robber. His second film with Screen Gems is listed as “Boulevard” in which he’ll play the lead. The third film for the rapper will reportedly be determined sometime later.
