Three 6 Mafia To Possibly Headline With Former Christian Rock Band

In Fullerton, California, Academy award winning Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia is reportedly expected to be performing with a former Christian rock band by the name of Relient K.

According to an article posted at the Daily Titan, Three 6 Mafia is “close to signing” a deal to perform at the Ultimate Spring Concert on April 24 at California State University’s Titan Stadium.

Relient K, a former Christian rock band who reportedly started in the Contemporary Christian Music circuit, now turned pop rock, is expected to sign on with Three 6 Mafia to also headline at the Titan Stadium.

Reportedly coordinators of the event think that a “multi-genre” event might appeal to both hip-hop and rock fans if they bring the two groups on together.

“Last year was both rock, we wanted to go with multi-genre this year,” stated Joseph Lopez, Associated Students Inc. Productions administrative director.

Artists are expected to cost around $65,000 for the event which is expected to draw a crowd of around 3,000 people at a ticket cost ranging from $10 for students.
