Ever wander does Three Six Mafia take a break, well evidently not! In a recent column in the Commercial Appeal, news columnist Yolanda Jones reports that Three 6 Mafia says that in 2006 they may become even more known, as the “Stay Fly” trio of DJ Paul (Paul Beauregard), Juicy J (Jordan Houston) and Crunchy Black (Darnell Carlton), all in their early 30s, are in talks with MTV about a possible reality television show.
“Nothing’s written in stone,” said Juicy J from the road as the group readied for a New Year’s Day concert in Richmond, Va.
“They want a pilot and we’re piecing together a pilot, so we’ll see.”
The groups’ latest independent film project was the DVD release “Clean Up Men,” a comedy tale of two brothers Reggie (Shawty “What My Name Is”) and Keith (Roland Powell) who find themselves in the middle of an organized car theft ring run by the notorious Lionel (Miguel Nunez Jr.) After losing Lionel’s money to save their uncle’s dry cleaners, the brothers find themselves in trouble. The only way to save themselves is to work off the debt for Lionel or try to set him up with the police (Juicy J and Katalina Parrish.) With appearances by DJ Paul and Frayser Boy of Hypnotize Minds, this movie is a must see.
