Three 6 Mafia Heads From The Studio To The Screen

The duo (Juicy J and DJ Paul) is scheduled to appear in the upcoming film “Jackass 2,” as well as episodes of HBO’s “Entourage” and VH1’s hottest celebreality show “Flavor of Love”.

“We’ve been working for over 15-16 years and it’s like the hard work is paying off. People actually want us to act in their movies (in addition to) doing music,” states Juicy J, the now one-half of Three 6 Mafia.

The duo (Juicy J and DJ Paul) is scheduled to appear in the upcoming film “Jackass 2,” as well as episodes of HBO’s “Entourage” and VH1’s hottest celebreality show “Flavor of Love”.

And while getting ready for the screen, Juicy J says he will be seeking more challenging roles. “I really don’t want to act in a hip-hop movie because everybody knows me as a rapper,” he says. “[For our movies] I would actually get real actors to act and let them do the rapping and hip-hop, like with Terrence Howard [in ‘Hustle & Flow’].”

Three 6 Mafia is currently planning their tour for later this year or in early 2007 in support of their new deal with Warner Bros. Records.
