REMY MARTIN CHARGES REDUCED

Female Rapper, Remy Martin was all smiles in court yesterday as she saw her Attemted Murder charges reduced to Assault charges. These charges stem from a shooting on July 14 of a close associate of the rapper, Makeda Barnes Joseph. It is alleged that Remy was missing $2000 from her purse after Joseph held the bag.

MTV LISTS TOP 5 KANYE MOMENTS

After throwing a tantrum at the 2007 MTV Video Awards for not winning and starting a boycott of the network, MTV has created a list of their TOP 5 Kanye Cry Baby Moments. They call Kanye out for his antics at the AMA’s, The Grammys, and the MTV Europe awards among others.

JERMAINE DUPRI BOOK COMING SOON

Grammy winning producer Jermaine Dupri will chronicle his journey through the music business in his upcoming book “Young, Rich and Dangerous: My Life in Music.” In the Autobiography he will discuss his rise from a 12 yr. old dancer to his current position as president of Island Records Urban Music. “Young, Rich and Dangerous: My Life in Music” hits stores in October.

BET HIP HOP AWARDS ARE ON THE WAY

The 2nd Annual BET Hip Hop Awards are scheduled to air October 17 at 8p Central Time. Some of the categories include Best Hip Hop Dance, Best Live Performance, and Best Hip Hop Video of the year. The Lyricist of the Year category nominees are Common, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, T.I. and Kanye West.
