What will you be doing for New Years Eve in Memphis? If you don’t have anything planned, we may have some options for you to kick off your New Years Eve’s list of things to do in Memphis.
As you know, there will be tons of parties to attend, but there will be nothing like finding a nice spot on Beale Street inside of one of the venues which will most certainly hold a New Year’s Eve countdown alongside the Countdown on Beale. It is already estimated that more than 40,000 people will gather on Beale Street itself, so you will definitely need to head out early to catch a parking space and find out where you want to be.
Other things to do: If you have little ones and you’re not afraid to splurge on them, they can celebrate New Year’s Eve at the “New Year’s Zoo Snooze” overnight adventures which starts from 6:30 p.m. and ends the next morning at 9:00 a.m. There’s a cost of $75/members; $85/nonmembers to participate and register for the “New Year’s Zoo Snooze.” The event is for kids only ages 6-12 and will include snacks, goodies and more for the kids.
For the grown-ups, the Peabody Hotel will be holding its infamous New Year’s Eve party at Peabody which include rock, rap, and dance with live performances from the likes of Lord T & Eloise, Andy Childs, Garry Goin & G3, Alexis Grace, John Felix Trio, DJ Mark Anderson
