A man in Texas was busted showing his violent “knockout game” assault video to a person who ended up being an off-duty police officer; now that man faces a federal hate crime.
Conrad Barrett, 27, is charged with attacking an elderly 79 year-old man, who he reportedly sucker punched leaving the victim with a jaw broken in two places and 3 teeth missing.
Barrett allegedly stalked his victim in the residential area of Katy, Texas in the Houston metro-area on November 24th, approached him, then asked “how’s it going,” before punching the victim in the face, laughing and saying “knockout.”
This was filmed on video and shown later to an off-duty cop.
Barrett allegedly had numerous cell phone videos making racial statements.
Now charged with violating the Federal Hate Crimes Prevention Act, Conrad Barrett faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
