Texas Coach Resigns After High School Football Players Tackle Referee Over Bad Call

After a video went viral of San Antonio football players targeting and knocking down a referee allegedly over a bad call, the coach of the team has reportedly resigned.

In the video, two of the football players can be seen charging at the referee sending him to the ground as tackling another football player.

The incident allegedly was over a bad call, but new details now reveal that the football players may have believed words from their coach and assistant coach was saying to them to tackle the referee.

Details reveal that someone got the idea that the referee not only made a bad call, but at some point used a racial slur inciting the coach, assistant and players to exchange words leading up to the players targeting the ref.
