If you ever heard of the TV show the ‘World’s Dumbest Criminals’ aka ‘World’s Dumbest…’ on truTV, then you’d know that these four teens may just qualify for a list of ‘Dumb Social Media Criminals.’
Thanks to the oldest of the bunch, an 18 year-old from Pittsburgh, who is accused of robbing a market on December 12th with a 17 year-old and two 14 year-olds, the teen criminals were busted because of uploading and posting pictures of them holding a stash of cash on Facebook.
Isaiah Cutler, 18, and the three younger teens allegedly stole over $8,000 worth of merchandise which included checks, candy, cash and cigarettes. Following the robbery, they apparently flashed the cash in pictures on the social media networking site Facebook.
One of the masked robber’s grandmother heard of the robbery and identified them in the photographs and contacted the authorities.
Isaiah Cutler was booked at Allegheny County Jail and bonded out today (December 28) following his preliminary hearing for charges of burglary, conspiracy and theft.
The three minors were charged as juveniles and were released to their parents earlier.
