Teacher Quits After Memphis Student Steals Nude Photos Off Her Phone & Shares With School

A Memphis high school student is accused of stealing nude photos off of his teacher’s mobile phone and sharing them with everyone, causing her to quit her job due to the backlash of this teacher scandal.

A teacher at the college-preparatory public school of KIPP Collegiate High School in Memphis apparently left her phone charging in the room, leaving it vulnerable to an alleged mischievous student, who seemed to have been interested in snooping and spying on his teacher.

The student allegedly got on the teacher’s phone, sent her private nude pics to himself and then shared the nude photos of the teacher with his friends and apparently even with some parents.

As the nude pictures of the teacher began circulating the school, school officials were alerted by a concerned parent and the teacher was apparently placed on administrative leave.

According to reporter Wayne Carter at WREG, KIPP Collegiate’s executive director Jamal McCall says the teacher resigned the next day after being placed on administrative leave.

People on the Internet learning of the story are now questioning whether laws were broken by the student, asking should he have been expelled or even arrested, while many are sharing their support for the teacher, who may have been a victim.
