Suge Knight Busted On Drug Charges, Assault and Domestic Violence


Marion ‘Suge’ Knight, 43, has been charged with assault and domestic violence after allegedly beating up his girlfriend of 3 years and getting caught in the act by police threatening her with a knife in Las Vegas.

Founder of the once infamous Death Row Records which was lost after declaring bankruptcy, Marion “Suge” Knight, 43, has been charged with assault and domestic violence after allegedly beating up his girlfriend of 3 years and threatening her with a knife in Las Vegas on Wednesday after police received a call for domestic violence.

The unknown girlfriend who’s identity is being kept anonymous, reportedly told police officers that Suge Knight had punched her in the head during an argument while he was driving. Out of fear, the girlfriend made an attempt to escape and allegedly grabbed the steering wheel of the car which hit a curb bringing the car to a halt. At that time, the girlfriend is stated to have fled while Knight pursued her, according to a statement by an official.

Just as Suge Knight had caught up with the young woman police pulled up to find him holding a knife and waving it over her. Police did a routine checked of the vehicle and found the drugs Ecstasy and hydrocodone and Knight was booked and taken into custody.

Suge Knight was booked at Clark County Detention Center on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and battery domestic violence.

The girlfriend was taken to Spring Valley Hospital and was treated for injuries that she had sustained.

MemphisRap.com has learned that the total bail stemming from the four charges has been set at $19,000 at this time, and Knight is scheduled for a hearing on Thursday, August 28th at 7:30 AM.
