Student Accused of Trying To Poison Teacher

Sixth-grader puts a harmful mixture in teacher’s coffee.

A sixth-grader at Mt. Pisgah Middle School got in deep trouble last week after almost poisoning his school teacher. The ten year old poured Expo dry-erase board cleaner in his teacher’s coffee on Friday. The teacher tasted the tainted coffee but realized it tasted funny and did not drink it. The student confessed after another student told the teacher what happened.

The student is facing criminal charges and long term suspension even though he says he did not mean to hurt anyone.
