Memphisrap.com has learned that, after nearly four days of police investigation, police have now confirmed that Ex Tennessee Titans NFL Quarterback Steve McNair, who was killed on July 4, 2009 over the weekend, as previously reported, was indeed murdered by the woman, his alleged girlfriend / mistress Sahel Kazemi, who was found dead as well nearby the body of McNair after first shooting him four times (two gunshots to the head and two to the chest) then turning the gun on herself firing off one deadly shot to the side of her head.

Steve McNair, 36, a married father-of-four, and Sahel Kazemi, 20, a Dave And Buster’s waitress, were reportedly dating for several months prior to the somewhat crime of passion committed by Kazemi.

Both McNair and Sahel Kazemi were found dead in a Nashville condominium on Independence day 2009 with the apparent weapon, a pistol, used in the crime discovered near the body of Sahel Kazemi who was on the floor very close to Steve McNair, who was found on the sofa in the living room of the downtown condominium.

Just two days prior to the murder and suicide, Kazemi was arrested on a DUI charge on July 2 in a 2007 Cadillac Escalade registered to both her and McNair, who was reportedly in the passenger seat at the time of the DUI arrest.

More details reveal that Kazemi purchased the gun used in the crime just hours after being arrested and released.

As far as a motive, according to a police statement issued on Wednesday (July 8), Kazemi believed that the married Steve McNair was cheating on her and was suicidal because of financial difficulties she faced.
