Sony BMG & Yahoo! Make Video-On-Demand Agreement

Yahoo! extended its video-on-demand licensing agreement with Sony BMG on Monday.

Yahoo! extended its video-on-demand licensing agreement with Sony BMG on Monday. The deal makes several Sony artists’ music videos available in the Yahoo! Music Catalog.

The videos can even be distributed off-network through Yahoo!’s newest video player. Yahoo! users will also be able to use several Sony BMG audio recordings in user-generated audiovisual content.

Sony BMG’s purpose for the agreement extension was to continue its successful relationship with Yahoo! and make their artists’ videos available to more fans in more locations.
