Samuel L. Jackson ripped into a reporter recently for unfortunately confusing the actor, set to star in the new Robocop, as actor Lawrence Fishburne.
KTLA-TV’s entertainment reporter Sam Rubin mistook Samuel L. Jackson for Laurence Fishburne and now he surely wish he didn’t.
In an interview with the KTLA anchor, Jackson would not let Mr Rubin off the hook after confusing him for Laurence Fishburne.
Rubin asked Jackson about his “Super Bowl commercial” with Jackson replying, “What Super Bowl commercial?” before Jackson literally ripped him a new one.
“I’m not Laurence Fishburne!,” Jackson began in a tirade of humorous and, we’re sure, uncomfortable comments directed at Rubin after mentioning that Rubin was as ‘crazy as the people on Twitter.’
Following that, Jackson added that “we don’t all look alike.”
Robocop, directed by José Padilha starring Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Jennifer Ehle and Jay Baruchel, releases February 12, 2014.
