Memphis, TN – Teflon Don, a Memphis-based music artist and entertainer, is in the phase of re-branding his image with a new campaign and projects that will be taking him to the next level.

Teflon Don will be unveiling several new initiatives over several stages during the next few months and will be expanding to move beyond only being acknowledged as a music entertainer into new markets that will include interpersonal communication/public speaking, copyrighting, trademarking and more.

According to Teflon Don, born Donald Askew, Jr., “I will be re-branding and highlighting my strengths in the entertainment industry to better reflect on who I am as an artist as well as a businessman. After sitting and talking with a constituency of business friends, I determined that I have a story as well as information that a number of artists and aspiring entertainers should hear and take note of.”

Teflon Don has dealt with a number of legal suits and knows first-hand about dealing with them due to his past which includes a bout with rapper and label executive Rick Ross, amongst others.

Askew’s aim is to not only bring awareness to artists and entertainers about trademarking, but also about making sure that they get paid and included on cue sheets when their music is played or performed.

Askew is looking to motivate others with his public speaking to encourage copyrighting, trademarking and other business preparations.

Donald “Teflon Don” Askew, Jr. is available for speaking engagements, retreats, conferences and workshops as an empowerment speaker and expert in the entertainment industry.
