As of Sunday night, rapper The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, began serving his 60 day jail sentence on a felony firearm charge.
The rapper is serving time for a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone which he pleaded no contest to last month.
Due to the plea deal, the rapper’s other two charges were dropped. The rapper was accused of pointing a gun at a man after first punching him in the face during a basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South L.A., which landed The Game in jail back on May of 2007.
In addition to his 60 day jail sentence, The Game must also serve 150 hours of community service and three years probation on his plea deal.
