Rapper Q-Tip To Feature Barack Obama On New Hip-Hop Album

Q-Tip features politician Barack Obama on a song, whose vocals will be used for his latest album ‘The Renaissance’.

Rapper/producer Q-Tip, 37, who made his way onto the music scene in the late 1980’s from being in the group “A Tribe Called Quest,” that’s known for the classic songs “Bonita Applebum” and “Can I Kick It?,” is stated to be working with Presidential Candidate Barack Obama on his upcoming album.

Q-Tip features politician Barack Obama on a song, whose vocals will be used for his latest album “The Renaissance,” reports New York Post’s Page Six, which is expected to release in June. In addition to Barack Obama the rapper has worked with Norah Jones and Spike Lee on the project.

The 37-year-old tells the New York Post’s Page Six, “I’ve got Norah Jones on there, but Barack is the big one. You’ll see what happens, I can’t reveal too much.”

In other news, Q-Tip reportedly stated he’s forming a hip hop group with rapper Common named “The Standard.”

In addition, “A Tribe Called Quest” is stated to be working on an album also to be released in 2008.
