Nelly On Spelman Protest "They Robbed Me"

Nelly is questioned by Marc Lamont-Hill of HuffPost Live during an interview about the Spelman College protest that took place in 2004.

The group boycotted Nelly’s bone marrow drive which was going to be held in support of those in need of a bone marrow such as his sister Jacqueline Donahue. Unfortunately Nelly’s sister did not receive bone marrow and later lost her battle with leukemia.

According to Nelly, he wanted to kick somebody’s a-s over preventing the next person who could have helped save his sister and others who were in need of bone marrow.

Nelly also went into detail about how those in hip-hop go unnoticed for their contributions to the community and more.
