Rapper, Afroman born Joseph Foreman who’s known for his 2001 song “Because I Got High” will be moving to the big screen for a planned parody of the 1995 “Waiting to Exhale” film in August according to reports.
“I am supplying the key ingredients” for the movie, “Waiting to Inhale,” the rapper told the Associated Press, which is also the title of his album.
Afroman garnished the Billboard Hot 100 Charts making it to #13 and #1 in the UK when he released his debut single “Because I Got High” through Universal Records. The song became so popular that a Massachusetts judge even ordered a teen facing misdemeanor alcohol and drug charges to listen to the song and write about it in December of 2001.
